This lamp was purchased for a guest bedroom with a contemorary style but earthy tones. This lamp filled my needs. Although, this is simulated marble, it couldn't be more realistic in it's appearence. For a tall lamp its nicely weighted at six pounds. Had the lamp been made of actual marble, it probably been close to fifty.
The quality of this item was fantastic until it came to the lamp shade itself. The color of the shade was a nice compliment to the marble, but the shade material was extremely thin. So fine that the shade has some ripples. It doesn't deter from keeping this lamp, I'll just replace the shade. Great slimline styling gives plenty of room on the night stand.

I received this book just when we were moving into our new place and I've already used three projects in it--the drop cloth curtains, the pipe fittings candleholder, and the rug gripper lampshade. The author is very thorough with the directions and gives you a very specific list of items to buy at the hardware store. I found everything at the major big-box hardware store near my house. This book is awesome sauce! I may pull a Julie/Julia thing and do ALL the projects in the book.

It sounds like some people didn't love this book - I don't understand that. The book has lots of great ideas that someone, like me, who is not adept at crafting can easily and succesfully do with inexpensive items. The photographs are great and this is a very creative and stylish way to decorate. Highly recommend.

I love do it yourself interesting ideas...and this book does have a bunch of realistic items that don't look like cheap do it yourself items. These are things that are interesting and you could display in your house and people wouldn't know you made it! I thought it was a good book to inspire ideas!

This three piece group of Occasional Tables are set in a pine finish. Three pieces occasional table set comes with carved legs. Beautiful crafted details, rectangular shape top parquet look design. Set comprises of one Coffee Table and two End Tables.
The musical content on this recording is smokin' throughout. However, the sound quality on the majority of it is lousy. The cd is taken from two different Boston gigs in '69. On the first five tracks the music is distorted and the vocals sound especially muffled. The quality improves considerably for the second part with great versions of all four songs, but unfortunately these only comprise fourteen minutes of an already-too-short forty minute recording. If the quality were better, obviously I'd rate this much higher, but you really have to be a die-hard fan to enjoy the first two thirds, given the distortion. Que lastima!
